Healing is not the Destination

Maybe it's time to shift the question from "What am I healing?" to "Who am I becoming?"

Spiritual development isn't only about repairing what's been hurt or releasing what's holding you back. Healing creates space. The deeper path is learning what to do with that space - developing greater awareness, expanding capacity, discovering who you are, and learning to live your spiritual understanding in everyday life.

You don't have to be struggling to want more

Most people arrive at personal development because there's a problem, block, or limitation they haven't been able to move past with the tools, knowledge, or understanding available to them.

Something isn't working that needs to be addressed, shifted, or healed.

Transformation doesn't require a crisis. Most people hear healing and think, "but I'm not broken".

Maybe things are going well: a successful career, meaningful relationships, a family, accomplishments, self-awareness, a life that works - at least on the surface.

But you can't shake the feeling that you know there is more of you you haven't yet accessed.

This is when the goal of development shifts from introspective healing and more into expanding your capacity and training your will to direct your energy and your life in the way that serves your greater potential and purpose

The highest form of Spirituality is not
about healing; it's about
becoming

Healing has a Purpose

Healing matters, and it is an essential component of the overall path of self-mastery. We need to heal in order to receive the love, forgiveness, patience, compassion, and understanding to release wounds, programming, patterns, identities, and ways of operating that are keeping us stuck.

Healing creates freedom from limitation. It unlocks energy and potential that otherwise was trapped. Healing gives us the confidence and self-love to pursue a better life.

Spiritual development then begins by asking: What will you use that freedom for?

We come back to both healing and development over and over again in a nonlinear, cyclic cycle. We receive healing to unlock dormant power and potential, and receive training to develop and master this new level of being. Then we hit another glass ceiling, where we need to discover the next level of ourselves, receiving more healing to unlock that new understanding, then learn how to wield it, and so on.

The key here is that we don't get stuck in a never-ending loop of always healing ourselves. At some point, the greater work becomes embodiment. As we heal, grow, and expand our awareness, the spiritual path becomes something we live and practice daily. Our way of living becomes healing, and we begin to learn about ourselves primarily through living our purpose.

Healing

Awareness

Expansion

Embodiment

Healing - Release your limitations. Recognize and unravel your wounding, conditioning, energetic patterns, beliefs, and experiences that continue to influence your experience of the present.

Awareness - See more clearly. Find the space between the stimulus and your reaction. Observe your thoughts, emotions, patterns, energy, choices, and relationships and identify where you have the power and influence to make a change.

Awareness creates space

Space creates choice

Choice creates change

Expansion - Increase your capacity. Become able to hold more love, responsibility, understanding, abundance, joy, visibility, purpose, leadership, creativity, intimacy, and impact.

Embodiment - Live what you know. Spiritual understanding becomes meaningful when it changes how you actually live, choose, relate, prioritize, lead, create, and respond to life. Spiritual self mastery is means living your purpose, as your higher self.

Awareness creates the Freedom to Change

You cannot intentionally change what you are not aware of.

Most of us have a backseat driver: that voice in the back of your head that chimes in constantly with unwanted commentary about you, your life, and the people in it.

It has an opinion about everything.

One of its more favorite lines is: "yeah, but..."

I want to start a new project. "Yeah, but..."

I want to have a better outlook. "Yeah, but..."

And it's not just you it has an opinion about, it has an opinion about almost everything.

Imagine how many times something has happens in your life, or someone says something, and immediately that voice starts rolling off all kinds of things, mostly negative, that are loosely related to the current situation.

Old triggers, old patterns, old fear, old doubts. And all of a sudden, you're reacting to so much more than the present moment.

That's your subconscious mind running your present reality. As we heal, we release those old programs, make the subconscious conscious, and then something amazing happens.

We become aware of present reality without the influence of our old subconscious programming. We become aware of the space between the trigger and the response. It is in that space that we find freedom, power, choice.

Experience > Awareness > Space > Choice > Change

We explore this concept in depth in the Empower Thyself Initiation and give you powerful, directed tools to shift out of subconscious programming into the Freedom of awareness

This isn't just an Experience;
this is a Path

A spiritual experience can change how you feel for a moment, a spiritual path changes how you live.

We can have incredibly beautiful experiences in meditation, receiving healing, at a retreat, or even just randomly in everyday life. These can create profound insights in the moment and feelings of deep gratitude, elation, or peace.

But then, what happens on Monday morning? What happens when we're triggered? When a relationship challenges you, an opportunity scares you, you're asked to receive more than you're accustomed to holding, or life doesn't unfold in the way you had planned?

That's where the path makes a difference.

That's where training and development become visible.

Your Life is the Practice.

You are the Spiritual Experience.

You Live the Path.

As you walk the path, utilizing the tools and knowledge you've received, your life begins to unfold for you in a way that leads you to higher states of expression, joy, peace, freedom, and fulfillment. Your life reflects back to you all the internal alchemy you've done.

The goal isn't to escape reality; the goal is to become more capable of handling it.

When we don't clear our subconscious and we're not aware of the internal programming that's running in the background, it's reflected in our outer world. What we manifest is a reflection of what we are holding in our awareness, both consciously and subconsciously.

So when trying to manifest, instead of asking for what we want, we can ask: Am I prepared to receive what I am asking for? And further, do I have the capacity to responsibly hold and use what I'm asking for.

People who spontaneously receive an incredibly large sum of money often do not have systems in place within their own awareness to responsibly use that money and often squander it very quickly. This is why.

The greater your awareness, the more intentionally you can participate in creating your own life.
